From Shake CG
East side to North Ridge then Traversed South

Descended NE Gully

A bit warm but otherwise good weather.  Had some issues with brush but managed.

Notes

Left home 8:30am
Arrived 10:30-10:45
Drive Home: 2:15?

For next time, might want to try start heading NW from the redwood log
crossing until due east of the peak (through forest), then look for a 
class 3 route up or take the NE gully

Minor Shortcut: From the campground head due north or NW to catch the trail or
take the one that starts from the road before reaching the campground
