San Gorgonio

Vivian Creek Trail

A long dayhike up San Gorgonio with lots of snow. I hiked up the Vivian Creek trail which was clear of snow until the trail reached the creek at about 7100 feet. From then on it was a snowshoe hike. Snow was soft most of the day. There was no ice and no need for the crampons or ice axe I brought along.
