Bailey Canyon Trailhead. 7:19am. There's a nice park here with water and a restroom with flush toilet.
Keep straight. Across the bridge is only a short nature trail.
Fork. To the left is where you will exit from when you come out of Bailey Canyon. To the right is the trail that switchbacks up the ridge.
Remains of an old stone hut. This is the drop-in point for Bailey Canyon and is a convenient place to rest and gear up for the descent.
Second rappel. This one a bit of vegetation on descent.
Double bolt anchor. These are in the water course and were almost covered by sand. We had to dig them out a bit to examine them.
Bee rappel. The trickle of water attracted quite a few bees that we had to rappel through.
